Steep south-facing slopes above Bozen with skeletal soils of quartz and porphyry at 550 meters above sea level.

Management

Close to nature, a lot of manual work, and very little use of machines due to the extremely steep slopes.


Vinification

Fermentation on the skins in stainless steel barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation and ageing in tonneaux.


Characteristics

It impresses with its fine aromas of dark berries such as blackberries and black cherries. In combination with its fine tannin and full-bodied flavor, the result is a well-balanced red wine with a long finish.


Food recommendations

Suitable with cold cuts, meat dishes, gamen and for enjoying wine in between meals.
